Wow, tonight the ball I would think would be the least successful was the most successful go figure. First game I shot a 218. I had a little trouble keeping the ball on the right side of the headpin but eventually got that under control. Game 2 I bowled a solid 182. Game 3, I got a little out of sync. I tried switching to the Twisted Fury and that didn't work so went back to the Avalanche and stuck with that. Finished the game strong and it carried in to game 4 to where I bowled a 186. Overall was a good night and hope to carry that in to next week when we bowl on a new oil pattern.

| When you make a mistake on a sport shot it magnifies it like 10x. Tonight was just a bad night for me had trouble with my fundamental game and it really showed. I got 154-135-122-150 dropping my average to 158. I am not worried one more week left on pattern A then we start all over. I'll make the best of it and come back. Take care all. |

I don't know what it is about the last week of the season in the last 2 leagues. They have not been very good to me. I finished the season with a 507 tonight. My concentration wasn't there and timing was all over. I don't know why. I got a 182, 136 and 189 to pull out the 500. Oh my god, I had to fight to get 500, but I lived up to my word of not going lower then 500 for a season and I did it. Overall was a great season and have no complaints. Will touch on that in next blog.

Wow, what a difference a week can make. Tonight I made a giant leap on the tougher lane condition. In the first game I bowled a 138. I was trying to fit the Twisted fury in from the right and was very unsuccessful. I said heck with that, and I moved in and switched to the Fury Pearl. I bowled a solid 183 in game 2. Only opened once. Game 3 I bowled a 209 with no opens. Game 4 bowled a 188 with 2 opens. What an awesome night averaged 179 raising my average to 168. Hopefully, I can get rid of that bad first game next week.
Lack of Focus Does Me In

I had a horrifying night tonight. Coming off of last night, I had a sore thumb and it made it difficult tonight to bowl. I got a 176 and 142 in the first two games. I was missing spares that I normally make and was splitting a lot too. At least in game 3 I came back with a strong 236 game to bring my series up to a 554. I'll come back strong on the last week of the season and finish strong.
